Amadinda
Outdoor Instruments give children hands-on musical and cultural experiences
The Amadinda is a 12-key instrument similar to a Ugandan version bearing the same name. This instrument sits low to the ground and is played while seated on either side, making it easily accessible for smaller players individually or in pairs. Tuned to a C major pentatonic scale, sounds are created as children strike the edges of this instrument.
